Kaspersky Internet Security 2012 1 Year License

Registration at Computer Bild

Before you get the free KIS 12 activation code, you will have to register at computerbild.de .
They are the one from whom you can get new Kaspersky Internet Security 2012 Activation Code License Key every 3 months.
You can get it 4 times in a year. ( i.e 3 months x 4 = 12 months)

1>> Register at here ComputerBild.de
( if you already have their account then skip this step)
2>> Once you visit there, you will need to enter details like : Username, email address, password, re-type password, gender, first name and last name.
Tick the check box for "Ich habe die Nutzungsbedingungen gelesen und erkläre mich damit einverstanden”, and then click on the "Registrieren” button.
(Take the help of screen shot below)

3>> Once the above step is done, you would receive an email from info@computerbild.de . Click on the confirmation link in the email to finish the registration process.

4>> Now, visit the Kaspersky Security Suite CBE 12 page at the following URI, and login with your ComputerBild.de account:
computerbild.de/Kaspersky-Security-Suite-CBE-4280623



5>>  Tick the check box for "Persönlichen Lizenzschlüssel anfordern oder verlängern” and click on "Lizenzschlüssel anfordern” button.


6>> The very next second, you will receive a new mail from "COMPUTER BILD-Aktion online-aktion@computerbild.de ” with subject of "Ihr Lizenzschlüssel für Kaspersky Security Suite CBE”.
The email contains the activation code for Kaspersky Internet Security 2012 in big red letters.
Note: The free activation code only works with "Kaspersky Security Suite CBE 12″  from the ComputerBild magazine CD/DVD.

Well, now you already have the license key of Kaspersky Internet Security 2012 with you. But you cannot directly start using this on your existing Kaspersky Internet Security 2012.
You will have to uninstall your existing Kaspersky Internet Security 2012 and then re-install it carefully by following the steps below.


Installing Kaspersky Internet Security 2012
1>> At first download the latest version of  Kaspersky Internet Security
or from any source to download...

2>> Now, download cbi.dll which is extracted from Kaspersky Security Suite CBE 12.
3>> Now, start the installation of Kaspersky Internet Security 2012.
Double click on the setup file you downloaded.
Tick the check box for "Change installation settings” and click Next .
 
4>> Now, click "I Agree” button.


5>> Click "Next” button.

 6>> Again click on "Next” button.

 7>> This is again a very important step: Untick the check box for "Protect the installation process”, and then read step 8 below even before you click on the "Install” button.
 
8>> This step needs a bit of care : The installation starts as soon as you press "Install”.
Leave the installation to run for a while and let the progress bar complete one round and come back for the second round.
When the progress bar runs until about the middle stage during the second round, click on Cancel button to temporarily stop the installation process.
Take a good look at the snap shot below and then you can click on "Install”.


9>> Visit the folder to which you have installed the Kaspersky Internet Security 2011 untill now.
By default it is C:Program FilesKaspersky LabKasperky Internet Security 2012

>>Delete the file cbi.dll.

>>Now, copy the cbi.dll from Kaspersky Security Suite CBE 12 which you downloaded earlier from step 2.
(Remember all this is happening when you have temporarily stopped the installation).


10>> When the above step is done, click on "No” button to continue the installation process.

11>> Once installation is complete, a Kaspersky Internet Security Configuration Wizard opens up.
Select the radio button of Activate commercial version, and enter the activation serial code received for computer build, and click Next.
 12>> Activation should complete successfully with license type as commercial which valid for 3 computers (Yes, you can install on 2 more computers similarly with the same license key).
